ABA values our coaches and in recognition of the experience, time, and commitment they give to ABA representative programs, ABA has the following benefits available.
Definitions
Squads: All ABA Rep Squads
Community: All other coaching programs, including schools, Shuttle Girls, etc.
Tier 1 Coaches: Named Head Coaches of Squads that work at least 7 hours per week of active coaching, of which at least 4 hours must be squad coaching
Tier 2 Coaches: Assistant Coaches of Squad or Community Coaches that work at least 7 hours per week of active coaching, of which at least 4 hours must be squad coaching
Other Coaches: Contracted and complete at least 2 hours of coaching on average per week.
Children Participating in Squad and Age Groups |
- Tier 1 Coaches are entitled to 1 child free in squads' weekly training programs.

- This does not include holiday programs or tournaments run by ABA or where the coach's child is chosen to represent ABA e.g. if selected for ABA at Palmerston North the coach's child must pay the same amount as others selected.

- Tier 2 Coaches are entitled to a 50% discount for one child in squads' weekly training programs.

Coaches Participating in Squad Training |
- Tier 1 Coaches are entitled to enter free squads' weekly training programs.

- Tier 2 Coaches are entitled to a 50% discount on squads' weekly training programs.

ABA Yonex Sponsorship of Coaches |
- Tier 1 Coaches will be nominated for tier 1 Yonex sponsorship.

- Tier 2 Coaches will be able to participate in the Annual Yonex Rep Deal sponsorship.

ABA ProShop Discounts - ONLY FOR PERSONAL USE (includes strings, coaching cards – Excludes shuttles and any promotional or already discounted items). |
- Tier 1 Coaches will receive a 25% discount off retail.

- Tier 2 Coaches will receive a 20% discount off retail.
|
- Other Coaches will receive a 15% discount off retail.
